Maria & Mark // Downtown Detroit Wedding at the Gem Theatre

Maria and I had the most lovely consultation before she booked me to shoot her wedding. I believe we spent over two hours at Starbucks chatting about EVERYTHING! How do I get so lucky with all of my brides feeling like they are my BFF?! Maria shared with me that her fiance, Mark, has a family cabin in Port Sanilac. She wanted to do the engagement session in Port Sanilac because that’s where her & Mark shared most of their free weekends. How could I say no?! Their dog Jager joined them for their engagement session. I got to know Maria & Mark a little better during our adventures. We ended the session with a bonfire and s’mores, talk about perfection! Maria and Mark were married at St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Bloomfield Hills. I spent the morning with Maria & her ladies while my second shooter, Carolynn, spent the morning with Mark and his best guys. The reception was at the classy & timeless Gem Theatre in downtown Detroit. Maria was stunning and her girls were radiant in those red lace dresses! Mark and his guys were awesome and kept us all laughing. Here are just some of the highlights from their perfect wedding day. Congrats Maria & Mark!
