Amanda & Chris // Detroit Historical Museum

This wedding had me in tears while getting it ready to blog. The day of, everyone was beaming, including myself. Amanda and Chris met in Tanzania, Africa years ago. Everyone at home instantly loved Chris when Amanda brought him home. Amanda and I have been friends my entire life. We grew up 5 houses away from each other & our mothers were the best of friends. Her siblings were like my siblings and vice versa. Amanda has 9 other siblings, life is never dull in the Mahoney/Lippert family! So, for Chris to join in like he’d been apart of the family the whole time was amazing. He has an incredibly kind heart and a family that matches his personality.

Amanda & Chris had a day similar to their relationship. Full of love & family, down to earth/no fuss kind of wedding! We started with family photos at the beautiful DIA and then Amanda & Chris had their ceremony/reception at The Detroit Historical Museum. Chris’ sister, Lindsey, officiated their ceremony and then we partied the night away! Hope you all enjoy reminiscing their beautiful wedding day.
